Nicholas Hoult Will Play Lex Luthor in "Superman: Legacy"?
Nicholas Hoult will be the fifth actor to play the character of Lex Luthor in this live-action version.
James Gunn's DC movie project "Superman: Legacy" was made official last year.
In fact, James Gunn has announced the figure of the actor who will play Superman, namely David Corenswet.
Most recently, there are rumors that Nicholas Hoult will play Lex Luthor, Superman's nemesis, in the film.
The actor is in talks with DC Studios to play Lex Luthor.
As reported by Deadline, Nicholas Hoult has been James Gunn's first choice to play Lex Luthor in this movie.
In fact, Nicholas Hoult has been nominated as the actor who will play the role since early 2023.
Nicholas Hoult will be the fifth actor to play the character of Lex Luthor in this live-action version.
Previously, there were several iconic names who played Lex Luthor such as Michael Rosenbaum, Gene Hackman, Jesse Eisenberg and others.
Nicholas Hoult had wanted to play Superman and even Matt Reeves' The Batman.
It was previously known that Nicholas Hoult also auditioned to play Superman
However, the role went to David Corenswet who replaced Henry Cavill.
In fact, he reportedly auditioned to play Batman in Matt Reeves' The Batman.
However, the role eventually went to Robert Pattinson.
Even so, it is still unclear whether the actor will get the role because DC Studios and Warner Bros. have not given an official response.
