Movie Tickets Will Only $4 on National Cinema Day
National Cinema Day is Sunday, August 27 and 3,000 movie theaters across the country will be offering $4 tickets.
You can get cheap ticket prices on Sunday, August 27.
That's because that day was National Cinema Day. Most theaters offer tickets for $4.
The Cinema Foundation, which organizes this event, wants film lovers to join in celebrating by watching films on the big screen.
This is an opportunity to enjoy all kinds of movies for a discounted price. Even for premium formats like large screens.
Around 30,000 screens in 3,000 locations are expected to participate in the one-day event.
AMC Theaters and Regal Movies are also joining. They even give a discount for small popcorn and soft drinks.
To get tickets or find participating theaters, visit NationalCinemaDay.org, Fandango, or your local theater's website or app.
Movies that get ticket discounts include
"Barbie," "Oppenheimer," "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," and "Blue Beetle."
New films such as "Gran Turismo," "Golda," "The Hill," "Retribution," and "Bottoms" are also on the list this weekend.
You can also watch "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "The Little Mermaid Sing-Along" from Disney.
All films with all formats or screens will have a $4 ticket price.
Last year's celebration attracted more than 8 million people to the cinema. It grossed over $24 million.
According to the Cinema Foundation, that moment makes it one of the best movie days in 2022.
