The directorate stated the body is a male aged between 600 and 800. This finding was made during a joint operation with the Peru National Police.
According to national heritage laws, the body has become the state's property.
Local media outlet Noticias Sin Filtro Puno TV doing an interview with a man named Julio Cesar.
He claimed he was the owner of the body.
