Man Breaks World Record After Watching 777 Movies In A Year!
A man from the United States, Zach Swope, has achieved a remarkable feat by breaking the world record for watching the most films in a cinema in a single year.
He accomplished this by watching a total of 777 films in theaters from July 2022 to July 2023, surpassing the previous record of 715 films held by Vincent Krohn from France in 2018!
To break this record, Swope had to watch each film from start to finish without any distractions, like using his phone, taking naps, or even eating and drinking during the screenings.
This dedication required him to watch up to three films on weekdays and even more on weekends. On average, his goal was to watch around 16-17 films every week.
Despite having a full-time job, Swope managed to make time for his movie marathon, occasionally taking breaks to "mentally recharge."
One of the movie he like the most is "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," which he watched an impressive 47 times. But his favorite film was "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," while "The Devil Conspiracy" was his least favorite.
Zach Swope undertook this record-breaking challenge not only for personal accomplishment but also to raise awareness about autism, as he himself has Asperger's syndrome, a type of autism.
In his words, this journey was dedicated to a good cause, and he's even open to the idea of breaking his own record in the future!
