Bus Conductor in Thailand Faints After Passenger Brings Durian on Bus
After the passenger left, he could still smell the durian which made him faint.
A bus conductor in Thailand fainted when a passenger brought durian onto his bus.
He described the incident on his Facebook last Saturday. September 9.
Kussam Srisong, the bus conductor, revealed his allergy to this strong-smelling fruit.
He had "tightness in his chest and difficulty breathing" when he saw a passenger carrying durian onto the bus.
Srisong also shared a photo of himself lying on a bus seat after fainting.

The incident caused delays in bus schedules.
Srisong was immediately taken to hospital. Luckily, he was able to make a full recovery.
In a next Facebook post, he said he was healthy and back to work.
In Thailand, durian is known as the "king of fruits." Durian is prohibited from being carried on public transport because it smells.
Srisong reminded all public transport users in the country not to bring durian into public transport. This could have an impact on fellow passengers.
"When you bring durian on the bus, not only you can't continue the journey, but many other people will probably get home late because of you." he wrote.
According to Bangkok-based media Thairath, Srisong said he had a severe allergic reaction to the smell of durian.
After the passengers carrying the fruit left, he still can smell that fruit. That's what made him faint.
