Besides the movie's domination of the US box office and its record-breaking earnings, "Barbie" has now made many parents want to name their babies after the doll's name.

According to a popular baby naming website called "Nameberry", searches for the name "Barbie" have increased by 603% since the movie's first trailer debuted online.
Meanwhile, searches for the name "Ken" have also increased rapidly on the site, with the number of users seeing a 293% spike.
However, according to Nameberry Editor-in-Chief Sophie Kihm, the name of "Barbie" and "Ken" wouldn't be translated as actual usage.
It means that these names will not be used as a name just like that.
"Barbie and Ken are piquing parents' interest, but this doesn't mean that will translate into actual usage," she said.
"Barbie and Ken are both dated names that aren't due to comeback yet, so while there may be a slight bump from the movie, neither will be among the most popular baby names of 2023," she added.
