A. Basic Slime Recipe

A. Basic Slime Recipe

You can make the basic slime with just a few ingredients. Here is the recipe for the basic slime :

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (4 ounces) of white school glue
  • 1/2 cup (4 ounces) of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of borax powder
  • Food coloring (optional for color)

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the white school glue and water. Stir them together until they are well mixed.

2. If you want to add color to your slime, mix in a few drops of food coloring at this stage. Stir until you achieve the desired color.

3. In a separate small bowl, dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of borax powder in about 1/2 cup of warm water. Stir until the borax is completely dissolved.

4. Slowly pour the borax solution into the glue mixture while stirring continuously. As you mix, you will notice the slime starting to form. Keep stirring until the slime begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.

5. Once the slime has come together, you can knead it with your hands to improve its consistency. If it's still too sticky, you can add a little more borax solution, but do so gradually.

6. Your basic slime is now ready to play with! Store it in an airtight container when not in use to keep it from drying out.

  • 1/2 cup (4 ounces) of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of borax powder
  • Glitter (choose your preferred color and amount)
  • Food coloring (optional for additional color)

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the clear school glue and water. Stir them together until they are thoroughly mixed. Clear glue is typically used to make glitter slime because it provides a colorless appearance.

2. If you want to add color to your glitter slime, you can mix in a few drops of food coloring at this stage. Stir until you achieve your desired color.

3. In a separate small bowl, dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of borax powder in about 1/2 cup of warm water. Stir until the borax is completely dissolved.

4. Now, it's time to add the glitter. You can add as much glitter as you like, depending on how sparkly you want your slime to be. Stir the glitter into the glue mixture until it is evenly distributed.

5. Slowly pour the borax solution into the glittery glue mixture while stirring continuously. As you mix, you will notice the slime starting to form. Keep stirring until the slime begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.

7. Your glitter slime is now ready to play with and dazzle everyone with its sparkle! Store it in an airtight container when not in use to keep it from drying out.

C. Fluffy Slime Recipe

C. Fluffy Slime Recipe

This type of slime is made by adding shaving cream or foam soap to the basic slime recipe, creating a lighter and fluffier texture.

Ingredients:
1 cup (8 ounces) of white school glue
1 cup (8 ounces) of shaving cream (foam, not gel)
2 to 3 tablespoons of liquid laundry starch
Food coloring (optional for color)

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of white school glue.

2. Mix in 1 cup of shaving cream. Be sure to use shaving cream that is foam-based, not gel-based, for the best results. The shaving cream will give the slime its fluffy texture.

3. If you want to add color to your fluffy slime, mix in a few drops of food coloring at this stage. Stir until you achieve the desired color.

4. Gradually add 2 to 3 tablespoons of liquid laundry starch to the mixture. Start with 2 tablespoons and then add more if needed. As you pour in the starch, you'll notice the slime beginning to form. Stir continuously.

5. Keep mixing and kneading the slime until it reaches your desired consistency. If it's too sticky, you can add a little more liquid laundry starch, but add it in small amounts.

6. Once your fluffy slime is ready, you can have fun playing with it and experiencing its light and airy texture.

7. Store your fluffy slime in an airtight container when not in use to prevent it from drying out.
